Faith, Service, And Calling
Before Blake's Grace Consulting Services existed, our story unfolded in uniform and in prayer. For twenty-one years, Dr. Natalie Gorman served in the Marine Corps, leading communications teams between Korea and Miramar. That season forged discipline, courage, and a deep respect for fellow veterans.
After retiring, God redirected that same sense of mission toward counseling, and her doctorate in Christian Counseling became a way to walk beside people carrying invisible wounds.
A Caregiver's Burden
The vision for safe housing began in Natalie's own living room, while caring for her mother with dementia. She searched for care that was both safe and affordable, and each closed door revealed how vulnerable many elders are.
That season taught us how exhausting caregiving can feel, and how frightening it is to entrust a loved one to strangers. Out of that ache grew a dream for homes where seniors are protected, known by name, and treated like family.
Grief Into Purpose
In 2025, when Natalie's daughter passed away, our family felt shattered. Grief could have silenced the vision, yet instead it broadened it. We began to see domestic violence survivors and trauma survivors through a mother's eyes, and we knew that safe housing and counseling had to reach them too.
Blake's Grace was born as a place where pain is honored, safety is guarded, and faith gently invites each person toward restoration of mind, body, and spirit.
How Our Mission Grew
Our history weaves together military service, caregiving, and grief into a growing mission of safe, faith-rooted housing.
Shaped By Care
Caring for her mother with dementia revealed gaps in safe, affordable housing for elders.
Invitation Forward
Join us in this mission to restore safety, dignity, and hope for women, seniors, and veterans.
